Sound Mixing
Although there have been recent upgrades to practically every aspect of the complex, the latest unveiling boasts the renovation of our dubbing, editing and audio transfer facilities. Designed with the flexibility to adapt to the rapidly evolving nature of filmmaking, these 3 feature dubbing stages, 14 editing rooms and 3 audio transfer bays enable directors, picture and sound editors to work together on the same piece, if desired, with nearly instant access to any frame.
This complex is truly a state-of-the-art digital facility with a centralized Nexus Digital Routing System at the heart. It addresses the traditional obstacles in Digital Audio Post Production by selectively converting the various sampling rates (44.1k; 96k, off-speed rates) and manipulates them internally at 48kHz. Unique in the industry, this audio can then be moved as data throughout the entire facility with no analog conversion.
- 3 Feature Dubbing Theatres (named after famous directors: Howard Hawks, John Ford and Robert Wise)
- Each theatre equipped with a Neve Digital Film Console (DFC)
- Conference Room
- Maximum Comfort Producer's Booths
- Kitchen/Cafe Facility
Stage fix Pro-Tools systems are also available for change rooms.
